Kooza- Cirque Du Soleil Review

February 14, 2017

Late last week my husband, two children and I attended the Cirque Du Soleil performance, Kooza. Set in an amazing air-conditioned big top that seats over 2,000 people, Kooza was an incredible start-to-finish experience and one of the best shows we have ever seen. There is a very good reason why more than 160 million people around the world have seen a Cirque du Soleil show since 1984. Cirque Du Soleil is in a league of its own – high energy, funny and emotive.

The name KOOZA is inspired by the Sanskrit word “koza,” which means “box,” “chest” or “treasure,” and was chosen because one of the underlying concepts of the production is the idea of a “circus in a box.” A highlight of the production were the amazing costumes and music. The level of acrobatics is among the most jaw dropping and breathtaking you will ever see. We were beyond amazed.

If you are going to see one show this year, I would recommend Kooza you will not be dissaponted. It’s great for all ages. Kooza is currently located at Flemington Racecourse until the 26th of March. Tickets start at $60.00.
